The RK100-BS-EX detector is a linear optical smoke detector with barrier (separate TX and RX). It is designed to detect fires in hazardous environments, where regulations require the system to be in an explosion protection application. It is used in areas at risk of explosion or fire, in compliance with CEI 31-33 CEI 31-35 installation standards. More specifically, in hazardous areas classed as zones 1-2-21-22. The RK100-BS-EX has a maximum optical range of 120 m and features a built-in laser pointer for accurate and rapid aim between transmitter and receiver. Operation is based on the interaction between the smoke in the room, generated by the start of a fire and an infrared beam emitted by the transmitter to the receiver. This detector is also capable of detecting smoke, vapours and mists. ATEX CESI 036 approved. VDS and CPR certified in accordance with standard EN54-12.
