The PAC 512 DCi is an intelligent IP network-capable access controller for two doors, which can be deployed within a PAC access control system to support on-site access control, lift control, and door functions either individually or as part of a larger PAC system. While it relies on management software for many additional features, it has in-built databases and processing capability to execute local access control and manage door functions. The controller manages access through two doors with Read In/Out functionality when using PAC or PAC64 output readers, includes 3-amp thermal fuse protection for lock relays, and features built-in TCP/IP for communication with PAC software as well as RS-485 for connection to secondary PAC 511 or 512 controllers. It controls door locks in both Fail Safe and Fail Secure modes, supports a keyholder database of up to 20,000 records based on one credential per keyholder, offers a One-Touch™ test mode, and includes local anti-passback for accurate personnel tracking.
