The 49TCS142ST converter is equipped with a multi-interface circuit capable of managing RS-232 or RS-422/485 serial interfaces and single-mode fiber optic communication (ST connector) with ring and point-to-point transmission. It is used to extend the serial transmission of the Logirack system up to 40 km. It can be configured to convert either RS-232 or RS-422/485 signals, but not both simultaneously. Power supply from 12 to 48 VDC (49ABM124 power supply optional), with DIN rail mounting provision. The device is supplied as a single unit; one converter must be provided for each master matrix to be interconnected.
