FL45 series flame detectors are suitable for fire detection systems where rapid response is of primary importance. They are capable of detecting the presence of a flame (target flame) at distances of up to 25 m, are easy to install, and are particularly reliable. These detectors are especially suitable for locations where a fire is likely to develop rapidly, such as warehouses for petroleum products, paints, and plastic materials. The operating principle is based on the detection of the infrared and ultraviolet components of the flame. In fact, a flame emits a very wide radiation spectrum ranging from the ultraviolet (UV) range to the infrared (IR) range. Detection of both infrared and ultraviolet components provides clear proof of the presence of a flame, giving the detector technology high immunity to false alarms. The detector can be equipped with one UV sensor and up to three IR sensors. It features independent sensitivity adjustment for the IR and UV channels, allowing perfect adaptation to environmental conditions. Dimensions: 142 × 82 × 54 mm (without mounting bracket).
